Accoona started out in the search marketplace in 2004 with a bang and a lot of promise. It is a New Jersey based-internet company. Its main business was Accoona search engine that came to us for better understand searches. Accoona received a lot of attention to the users after selecting former President Bill Clinton as a representative on December 8, 2004. Accoona also received significant exposure from the web-master community after many forum sites were spammed with promotional Accoona entries. Others, Accoona signed a million dollar agreement with FAST Search from Norway to help develop their rankings.

But everybody now thinks that why I am saying its past history. Because when today I went to visit to the Accoona search engine I see astonishing news in its website. They say Accoona.com and Accoona.cn will no longer be active. This is really shocking news for the users. Nobody can’t imagine any perfect reason for inactivation of its. Though Accoona said that, due to an overwhelmingly competitive in search market they will no longer be active. But everybody saw a great prosperous future on its back. And each web user needs more competition in the search space as Google becomes more and more overriding.

Like Accoona we don’t want this type of ending of any search engine. We want new search engine that will make more competition in the search engine wars and can be defeat the one and only overruling of Google.
